The new club level series rounds while being run and promoted by ARTRP will be run as club level race meetings with competitors from first timers through to A graders all being catered for and whether you race any bike from a 400 to a BEARS bike or a 600 to a full on 1000 cc Superbike there will be a class that caters for all levels and grades of competitors.

ARTRP the promoters of the Australian FX-Superbike Championship has recognised that there needs to be more club level racing in NSW’s for the growth and good of the sport. With the announcement of the new club level series aimed at filling the gap between the ever successful ride days in New South Wales at both Eastern Creek and Wakefield Park Raceway. The new for 2011 ‘Race Your Mates’ stepping stone one day week day race meetings that allow ride day punters to go racing on their street and track bikes with minimum fuss and expense and the national FX-Superbike Championship.ARTRP sees this as a logical stepping stone path for those NSW’s riders who want to experience racing or are new to the sport to go from ‘Ride Days’, to the ‘Race Your Mates’ days, to the new FXRRC club level race meetings and for those who want to go even further the AFX-SBK Series.

The calendar for the 2012 Formula Xtreme Road Racing Club Series is;
Rnd 1. Wakefield Park Raceway Sat 11th - Sun 12th February
Rnd 2. Eastern Creek Raceway Sat 16th – Sun 17th June (Existing 3.93 km Long Track)

Both AASA and MA competition licenses will be accepted at these events and it is not mandatory to be a member of any club or to have to pay any club fee to race at FXRRC rounds. For those considering racing in these events a AASA national Competition license can be purchased for only $190. However for those who want to also do the occasional AFX-SBK round or would like to register / join with the Formula Xtreme Road Racing Club there will be an announcement later this week that no NSW competitor will want to miss.

Between the inaugural FXRRC club level race meetings and the NSW based AFX-SBK rounds there will be six ARTRP run road race meetings in NSW’s in 2012 which provides plenty of excellent track time that is equally spaced out throughout the year for all NSW riders.

As has been already mentioned there will be later this week a further announcement regarding the Formula Xtreme Road Racing Club Series and the benefits of joining the FXRRC. Please contact Terry O’Neill on             02 48 235 711       in business hours or email admin@aus-superbikes.com.au
