Wakefield Park turns 25 years old in 2019, with celebrations throughout this year, it’s sure to be one of the most memorable yet!
An exciting calendar for the year planned out, Wakefield Park will celebrate its achievement by holding The Wakefield Park 25thAnniversary Race Meeting sponsored by The Goulburn Workers Club on the 16th and 17th November and closing its birthday week off with a current era race meeting on 23rd and 24th November sponsored by Aussie Driver Search.
Historic cars will kick off the week of celebrations with a large community of post era cars which have frequently visited the track over the past 25 years to battle it out on track. GEAR and HSRCA will heavily be involved as over the past 25 years they have both shaped what Wakefield Park is today and they will continue to be a large part of who Wakefield Park is in the future. It will be a history making event with people coming from near and far to be a part of such a big milestone for Wakefield Park.
As a part of the weekend, on the 16th we invite all to attend the Saturday night 25th Anniversary Gala Dinner which will be held at The Goulburn Workers Club. All are invited to celebrate and take a moment to reflect on Wakefield Parks history and the memories created at this legendary track. Tickets will be available on our website very soon, wakefieldpark.com.au
The closing weekend of celebrations will close out with a more modern touch as the current series which currently dominate the motorsport scene will battle it out in their final round of the year. With off track entertainment and more of a festival type feel, its sure to finish celebrations with a bang!
Wakefield Park encourage all parties that have been involved with our track in any form to get involved throughout the year or during this iconic week.
We look forward to seeing you, your families and friends at our track to share our memories of what is to be the biggest year this park has ever seen!
See you at the track!
